Obituary For Geneva Marie Stith

Columbus, GA- Mrs. Geneva Marie Stith passed away peacefully Tuesday at her home. She was 95 years of age.

A daughter of the late Moses and Lizzie Porter, Mrs. Stith was born in Ahoskie, NC, and was retired from West Central Georgia Regional Hospital following 30 years of dedicated service as a cashier. She was also retired from the Post Exchange. She was a member of The Infantry Center Chapel at Ft. Benning and the DAV Chapter 56. She was a master word search enthusiast. Mrs. Stith was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Bismarck Stith, and five siblings, Felton Porter, William Porter, Josephine Easter, Grace Williams and Mamie Peebles.

Surviving her departure with cherished memories, include: two sons, Robert E. Stith (Sandy) and William R. Stith; a daughter, Alva Stith Graham (Randy); nine grandchildren Jade, Jenna, Stacey, Brandon, Mark, Veronica (Marcus), William (April), Crystal (Kevise) and Christopher; a host of loving great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Memorial Celebration for Mrs. Stith will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Progressive Chapel with Pastor Albert Suggs, Jr. officiating.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the chapel at 9:45 the day of the service.
