Ms. Evie Lee Harper, a resident of Brooklyn, NY and native of Cusseta, AL, died Friday, May 18, 2018 in Brookdale Hospital, Brooklyn, NY.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. (CST) in Evergreen Cemetery, Opelika, AL with Rev. Roger Jones officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Her survivors include: one daughter, Bettye Jean Maxine Harper, Detroit, MI; one sister, Odessa Taylor, Opelika, AL; and, a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

Dear Family, Our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt left too soon. Still can't believe she's gone. Nevertheless, I thank God she left us with many memories to share. She was a true Yankee Fan for over 50 years. She shared many Easter, Thanksgiving, Birthday and Christmas celebrations with us here in Brooklyn, New York. While it is our belief that she is in a better place we are yet healing with God's grace and mercy. I pray the same for you and closure as well. Love you all and let us continue to pray God's strength for the family.
