Obituary For Justice R. Jackson

Mr. Justice Ranyha Rashad “Smoove” Jackson, 23, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Justice was born on November 7, 1994 in Lanett, AL.

Justice was a 2013 graduate of Lanett High School. He played basketball, wore #11, and was a key player on the team. During the 2011-12 school year, Lanett High School Panthers won the area championship and Justice was named Lanett High School offensive player of the year. After graduation, he went to Alabama State University in Montgomery, AL and later decided to pursue his passion of being a photographer.

He leaves to cherish his wonderful memories: mother, Faturah Jackson (LaGrange, GA); father, Frankie Ross, Jr., ( Ellenwood, GA); six sisters, Burgundy Jackson (Stone Mountain, GA), Jaila Ross (Atlanta, GA), Jatiya Ross (Atlanta, GA), Destiny Crawl-Alston (Ellenwood, GA), Victoria McCalep (Ellenwood, GA), Alessandra McCalep (Ellenwood, GA); six brothers, Markio Jackson (LaGrange, GA), London Gates (LaGrange, GA), Cornelius Jefferson (Ellenwood, GA), Bryan Cook (Ellenwood, GA), Luke McCalep (Ellenwood, GA) and Mack McCalep; three aunts, Renata Jackson (LaGrange, GA), Cynthia Dunn (Lanett, AL) and Martondell Ross; six uncles, Ikel Jackson (Lanett, AL), Sebastian Jackson (Montgomery, AL) , Jaworski Jackson (LaGrange, GA), Rodney Ross (Lanett, AL), Joshua Hall (Lanett, AL) and Chris Hall (Auburn, AL); grandparents, Dr. Flora Jackson (LaGrange, GA), Margaret (Alan) Ishler (Lanett, AL) and Frankie (Sarah) Ross, Sr. (LaFayette, AL).

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. ET at Bethlehem Baptist Church in West Point, GA, with Bishop Donald Lancaster officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lanett, AL.

The remains will lie in state at the church on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 12:00(noon) until the funeral hour.

To the Jackson family I would like to express my deepest sympathy. It is truly hard when we loose someone on death but we have the hope of seeing our loved one again Jesus talked about a time when all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out(John 5:28, 29) that will be a wonderful time. To Sal and the rest of the Jackson and Ross family, I know this is a very hard time for you but may Jehovah the God of love comfort you in this trying time. Justice will be missed by many but I know his memories will forever live through you. We all want to see the day when we don't have to cry in sorrow anymore. When death will be swallowed up forever. May each of you find hope and comfort from Rev. 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
