Guest Book

To Patricia (my cousin Pat)--- May I express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband, Fletcher. It was always a pleasure when I had a conversation with Fletch. As I knew him, he was in a perpetually good mood; brought a smile to my face each time we spent even a few minutes talking. Once, when I visited you and Fletch, I brought along my foster daughter who is blind and has Autism. Fletch was patient and very kind to her. He spent considerable time engaging her in conversation. He allowed her to speak her mind as they had a very friendly chat. That was years ago, but she remembers having that talk with him as they sat outside. I commend you, Patricia, for faithfully taking care of, and standing by Fletch as he faced health challenges. He was fortunate to have you by his side. ---Peace & Blessings, Gina Marable, Douglasville, Georgia

Vickie always talks about the kindness Fletch showed to mother Ruth and auntie Hazel when he would take time out of his day to go by and pick them both up,spending the day driving around, stopping to eat, laughing and just enjoying their company. It's that type of selfless act that shows Fletch's true character. He was a good person and will be greatly missed by all that knew him!

YOU CAME INTO MY LIFE AT A TIME WHEN A CHILD NEEDS A FATHER. ALTHOUGH YOU WERE NOT MY BIOLOGICAL FATHER, YOU STEPPED IN AND TREATED ME LIKE YOUR SON. ALL THE LESSONS OF LEARNED FROM HOW TO CUT GRASS, HOW TO DRIVE A CAR, HOW TO TIE A TIE, AND EVEN HOW TO VALUE LIFE WILL FOREVER BE EMBEDDED IN MY HEART AS YOU, MY DAD, TAUGHT ME THOSE THINGS. I AM GREATLY THANKFUL TO GOD FOR SENDING YOU MY WAY, AND FOR THE LOVE AND RESPECT WE DEVELOPED OVER THE YEARS THAT CONTINUED EVEN WHEN WE WERE APART. I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF THE KIND OF FATHER YOU WERE, AND I WILL GREATLY MISS YOU, THOUGH I AM THANKFUL TO GOD THAT YOUR SUFFERING DAYS ARE OVER. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE, AND I WILL GO ON CHERISHING ALL THE TRIPS, ALL THE TRAINING, ALL OF LIFE'S LESSONS THAT YOU TAUGHT ME AS I JOURNEY ON THROUGH THIS LIFE. YOU MAY BE GONE ON, BUT JUST KNOW YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.... I LOVE YOU AND I THANK GOD FOR YOU!!!!!! YOUR SON ALWAYS, KEITH BROOKS

Uncle Fletcher, the grand opportunity to have you as an "Uncle" was a blessing out of anything in this world. To be raised under the same roof as you were and sometimes by your presence was worth the thanks. May you rest Uncle and leave the sorrow of this world. Love Tina
