Progressive Funeral Home respectfully announces the passing of Jerome Biggers age 66 of Columbus on October 10, 2021

The Memorial Service for Mr. Jerome Biggers will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Progressive.

The Staff of Progressive Funeral Home is honored to be selected to provide end of life services.

To the Biggers Family: You have my Deepest Sympathy for your loss. May God continue to bless you and strengthen you during this time of bereavement. Jerome was a very special person, he never met a stranger, I met him through his brother Lu. He will truly be missed! It can be difficult to keep your faith when you're going through trials, but it is important that you trust in God during hard times. The Bible tells us, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make straight your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). The storms of life may be raging around you in this present moment, but God is always there to bring you through. Jerome was a good person, a good friend, a good coworker, a good parent, a good grandparent, and an overall kind and friendly guy. He was a good friend to me and my sister, Mary B. He was heartbroken when she passed away, one month before he did. Jerome will truly be missed by many. I will miss my phone call or text every two or three days.
