The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Walker will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with interment at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 starting at 4:00 until 6:00 P.M.

All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed facial coverings and social distancing protocols.
The son of Mrs. Billie Ann Tan of Maryland, and the late Samuel L. Walker, Sergeant Major Walker was born in Washington DC on January 15, 1963.
A dedicated United States Army Veteran, Sergeant Major Walker served during the Gulf War and Desert Storm. He also served as the Commander over Martin Army Hospital at Ft. Benning before retiring with 28 years of service. He obtained a Bachelor degree from Touro University in health sciences, and attended Columbus Technical College. He was currently employed as a construction inspector with AECOM Constructions. He was a member of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Phenix City and its Men's Prayer Group, and was a former Mason.
Survivors, other than his mother, include: two sons, Ervin L. Walker, Jr. and Earron L. Walker; three sisters, Sabrina Walker, Maxine Walker and Bert Walker; a brother, Dwayne Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The Homegoing Celebration for Command Sergeant Walker will be Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Phenix City with the interment following at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Sanders will officiate. Military Honors will be accorded. Visitation is Tuesday, 4 til 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
