Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Myrtle Hill Cemetery located at 1100 East Main Street in Hogansville, Georgia. Rev. Dwight Hardaway will officiate.
Public viewing will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Due to COVID-19 concerns everyone in attendance at the Graveside and the public viewing must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.
Mr. John Dean Grady was born May 18, 1967 to the late Johnny L. Grady, and to Joann Jackson in Hogansville, Ga. Deon answered God's call home on September 22, 2021 at West Georgia Hospice, LaGrange Ga.
Deon attended Hogansville and Greenville schools. He had a love of cooking and a love of driving trucks, which he did for 20 years. He was taught by his Uncle Tye on how to work on cars and became a mechanic, and was good at it. He enjoyed working with his hands, fixing and tinkling with things.
Deon leaves to cherish his mother Joann Jackson, father Johnny L. Grady(deceased)four children, Dewan Harden Sr., Niya Dean, Breyonna Sasser, Jasmine Woodard; three grandchildren, Dewan Harden Jr.,Braylen Harden, Ayden Tigner; two brothers, Quenda Jackson, Carter Grady; three sisters, Rose(Gary)Jones, Carla Grady, Tina Grady; five grandparents(deceased); Ruby Jackson, Mirel Grady, Irene Grady, Billis Daniel, Naomia Hunter; eight uncles, William Reid Jr.(deceased) George Jackson Tyrone(Sharon)Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Harold Jackson; Roger Daniel(deceased), Billy Daniel, Kenneth(Johnnie)Daniel; nine Aunts, Geraldine Evans(deceased), Janice Jackson(deceased) Amanda Jackson, Jewell(Harvey)Strozier, Sheila Williams, Deborrah Daniel, Glewnia Daniel, Grace Jenkins, Betty Carmichael, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
