Obituary For Brenda Dale Lashley

Brenda Dale Lashley, 72, of West Point Georgia passed away on September 9, 2021 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. Brenda was born in West point, Georgia on December 2, 1948 to the late Jones and Josephine Dale.

She is survived by husband of 48 years Randy Lashley; daughter Dana Spears (Lamar Craven); sons Jamie Lashley (Leigh), Casey “Beans” Lashley (Katharine), honorary son Mark Spears; grandchildren Zach Spears, Ben Spears, L J Craven, Jayleigh Bowen, Jaycee Vinson, Erin Lashley; great-grandchild Emerie Bowen; brother Thomas Dale (Faith); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; sister Diane Shoemaker, and brother Donald Hue Dale.

Brenda loved to cook and would help anyone that was in need and always put others needs ahead of her own. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was an avid University of Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm EDT, and followed by visitation at Bluffton Funeral Services, Lanett, Alabama on Sunday September 12, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held at Holy Family Catholic on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 12 Noon EDT.

Services have been entrusted to Bluffton Funeral Services, Lanett, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to the “American Diabetes Association”.

U never made me or my girls or my grandbaby feel like we wasn't blood and even my mom and best friend u always treated everyone like they were💯percent family!! The day I watched u take ur last breath was one of the hardest and saddest days of my life!! Go fly with the angels until we see u again!! Mrs. Brenda was always so sweet to me when I was a little girl and then to Josh when he and Casey were in school. A true kind soul. So sorry for the loss, I know she will be missed.
