Jefferson, Mr. Samuel Lee Jr., a resident of Stone Mountain, GA and former resident of Valley, AL, died Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Emory Saint Joseph's Hospital in Atlanta, GA.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel, Valley, AL.

Interment will be private.

He is survived by: his son, USAF Tech Sergeant Markey (Kendria) Huguley; reared as his daughter, Destiny Thompson; his parents, Samuel (Kelly) L. Jefferson, Sr., Valley, AL; two grandchildren, Makhari Huguley, Birmingham, AL and Kristopher Thompson, Columbus, GA; two sisters, Jaqueline D. Jefferson, Auburn, AL and Carolyn (Stanley) Jewell, Stone Mountain, GA; two brothers, Charles Jefferson, Riverdale, GA and Shan (Sara) Goodwin, Birmingham, AL; two close friends, Darrell Bodie, Columbus, GA and Derek Fears, Stone Mountain, GA; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
