Obituary For Marie Ozley Hurst

Mrs. Marie Ozley Hurst 75 of LaFayette, Alabama died Friday March 2, 2018 at the East Alabama Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 6, 2018 at 11 AM at the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church with burial to follow in the LaFayette City Cemetery, with the Rev. Paul Howard officiating.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 5PM until 7PM.

Mrs. Hurst was born in Chambers County June 12, 1942 to the late Robert Lee Ozley and there late Lessie Bishop Ozley. She was a member of the LaFayette Heights Baptist Church and had worked at Playtex from 1965 until 1979 and later worked for Russell Corp. from 1980 until 2001.

She is survived by 4 children-Tony (Dana) Hurst of Cusseta, Al., Angie (Randy) Osborne of LaFayette, Al., Lisa (Keith) Bassett of Ridge Grove, Al., Val Hurst of LaFayette, Al., 4 sisters-Faye Rutland of West Point, Ga., Peggy Ann White of Lanett, Al., Modine Price of Camp Hill, Al., Elaine Davis of Valley, Al., 8 grandchildren-Magan (Phil) King of Cusseta, Al., Justin (Heather) Hurst of Dallas, Ga., Robbie (Lauren) Osborne of Penton, Al., Timmy Osborne of Roanoke, Al., Dennis Osborne of LaFayette, Al., Noah (Erin) Hurst of Valley, Al., Ryan Hurst of Tuscaloosa, Al., Brad Hurst of Birmingham, Al., 10 great grandchildren- Kendal King, Mia Hurst, Ian Hurst, Kirsten Osborne, Emmanuel Osborne, LouElla Osborne, Eli Osborne, Whitley Osborne, Layken Hurst & Sadie Hurst. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Hurst, son Charles Hurst & sisters Debra Smith & Betty Jo Folds.
