Mrs. Ola Mae Huguley Johnson passed away Friday at Kindred Hospice at the age of 76.

Mrs. Johnson will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery on Friday, March 2, 2018 following a One O'clock P.M. Homegoing Celebration in the Chapel of Progressive Funeral Home, Inc.

Visitation 2-6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.

Interment, Green Acres Cemetery.

A native of Lafayette, AL., and the daughter of the late Allen Hughley and Mamie Huguley, Mrs. Johnson had lived in Columbus most of her life and had been employed at Bibb Mills. Later she assumed the duties of a home-maker. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Lafayette. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Norma Jean Davis and seven siblings, Lindsey, Charlie, L.C., Eddie, Robert and Willie B. Huguley and Wylene Brooks.

Surviving her departure are her husband, Sherman Johnson; three daughters, Catherine Huguley, Lashawn Huguley and Lucy Hood(Stanley); three sons, Jerry Huguley, Clarence Huguley and Vincent Huguley; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; one brother, Henry Huguley; three sisters, Marie Chopra, Margaret Tremell and Mattie Johnson(Horace); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
