Archie B. Moore, Jr. was born to Archie B. Moore, Sr. and Verna Alexander on September 3, 1956, in Columbus, GA. Sadly, Archie Jr. lost his battle with lung cancer on July 23, 2021, at the age of 64. In Archie's passing we are reminded of how short life can be and that every day should be celebrated. We will miss him, but he will remain in our hearts forever. Forever celebrating his life and cherishing his memory are his loving wife of 42 years Vickie P. Moore, sons Archie (Jasmine) Moore III and Cecil (Brandi) Moore, daughters Taqui Moore and Towanda (Daniel) Moore, father Archie B. Moore Sr., mother Verna Alexander, brothers Nicki Moore, Savetto Moore, Ronnie Gene Moore. Also survived are his seven grandsons, three granddaughters and a host of family and friends.

Archie was preceded in death by his brother Freddie Moore, and granddaughter LaTavia Moore. He attended Spencer High School, was a loyal member of Genesis Lodge 049 Freemason Temple and was an employee of Pratt Whitney for over 17 years.

Archie enjoyed spending time with family, learning to fly drones, use new technology, and watching sports.

There will be a Memorial Service for Mr. Archie Moore, Jr. on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Progressive Funeral Home.
