Guest Book

Deb was one of the most loving and beautiful women that I’ve ever known. God truly blessed my life when he allowed me to meet Deb. She was was a close friend personally; as well as my true and blue trusted SOS (Sista’s Out Steppin) Club member. Deb will forever remain in my heart. What a great reunion we will have, when Jesus returns to earth and we all will rise to meet Him in the clouds and spend eternity together in heaven. Reggie and Deb’s family will continuously be in my prayers. Respectfully, A. Yvonne Cathey SOS Club Sista

I'm so sorry for the loss of Debra's laughs and smiles in all of her friend's and family's circles. I will miss her as I know you will as well. Debra and I enjoyed laughing at our desk pile management styles. Her piles were somewhat larger but she had a lot going on in each of them. I can hear her asking, How are you doing Doug, and how she made me feel valued by just asking. Her laughter could brighten a cloudy day. I'm grateful to have known her and will hold her cheer in my heart. Peace and Love to All D

I have so many wonderful memories of the times we shared. I remember visiting during the Christmas holidays when we were in college and the great times we had at the Funky Junction and El Moraco clubs. I remember all the long conversations about any and everything, I even remember one year when we were kids that we were planning to visit and Deb had her had her electric organ all ready for our visit. I remember all the shopping trips and finding all the great sales! I am so grateful for times we spent together. I am going to miss you Debra! Most of all I remember the day that you surrendered your life to Christ.....it was the most important decision you made, you did not know it then but the decision you made that day on our shopping trip bus was the one that prepared you for the day, February 22, 2018 that you transitioned from this life to eternal life. I love ya Deb...see ya on the other side. Love your cousin Val

I knew that she was ill; but you sure couldn't tell! She stayed positive was always smiling and always has positive words for you. She made work so much fun. When we would have our all-agency we would have these themes and she would just go all out to make our day fun!! She was a friend and I will miss her terribly!!! Rest in peace my friend for there is a place in the heaven and it will be even greater with you there!!

When I learned of the passing of Debra Jackson, I could not believe that we lost such a wonderful lady. Debra was our Human Resource Manager at Five Rivers MetroParks. She was the perfect pick for that position. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. Always had time for you and whenever I saw her she was always wearing a smile. She would light up every room she entered with her beautiful personality. I was truly blessed to have known her and worked with her. I will keep Debra and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Debra was a beacon of light for me, and for Five Rivers MetroParks. I have no doubt her job was stressful, but she ALWAYS had a smile on her face, and a positive outlook on life. My fondest memories are of watching her dance, and always reaching out to others to brighten their day. My heart goes out to Debra's family. Although I miss her, I know she will always be a part of me.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Mary Mayo, the Pritchett & Jackson Families. May God give you the peace that you seek. I offer you my thoughts, prayers and well wishes during this dark time in your life. Reggie, you probably don’t remember me, but I was at your wedding with Mary, Deb was such a beautiful bride and together as one, you were an amazing team. For Deb’s loved ones, I know it’s easily written, than done, reminiscing about the memories is part of the healing process. I’ll keep the Families uplifted in prayer. OneLove ❤️

“My mind knows that you are in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. I understand that, I just wish I could explain that to my heart.” — Michelle Russell I met Debra at an OHPELRA program and then she joined the Board of Directors. She and I became great friends immediately. There are only so many people in your life that you could call if you needed help and know they would come to your rescue. Debra was on my list and I just wish I could have done something to help her. I never saw her without a beautiful smile on her face and I will always remember her that way. Farewell, my kind, honest, funny, and wonderful friend.

My condolences to the Jackson family and friends. The death of a loved one is one of the most difficult things to bear. Our God created us to live forever. At Revelation 21:3,4 we are assured of a time when sickness and death will be done away with. Mankind will no longer cry out in pain or mourn due to sickness or death. We are promised that these things will be things of the past that will never be brought to mind again.
