On that summer day of July 13, 1957, a son was born to the late Eddie Williams, Sr. and Annie Williams in Soperton, Georgia and he was given the name “Stalin.” He grew up in Soperton, Georgia surrounded by a large family filled so much love and laughter being the baby of eight siblings. He was educated in the Treutlen County School System.

Stalin was employed by Kmart Distribution Center in Newnan, Georgia for over 30 years. Not only was Stalin a hard worker, he was a man with a heart of GOLD. He would give of his time and possessions unconditionally. He had a sense of humor that was far beyond one’s imagination.

Stalin was united in Holy Matrimony to Vickie Clements on October 5, 1979. They shared a bond that was inseparable. Stalin will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and most of all a “real friend.”

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Curtis Williams, Eddie Williams, Jr, and Paulette Williams; mother-in-law, Bobbie Jean Clements; and brother-in-law, John W. Rosser.

Stalin leaves to mourn his precious memories a loving and devoted wife, Vickie Clements Williams; two sons, Stalin Jr. and Shun (Cassey) Williams; pride and joy granddaughter Kali; two like his very own sons; DeVon Pace and Greg Clements; siblings; Louise Coney, Ira Dean Woods, and Zelpon Phillips (James) and William Thomas Williams (Fannie); father-in-law, Willie Lee Clements, Sr.; Brothers-in-law, Willie Lee Clements, Jr. (Theresa), Gerald Clements (Tina) and Alonza Bohannon; sister-in-law, Mary Nell Rosser; Many Special Friends, and a host of other loving relatives, friends and cousins.

Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.
