Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Mr Walter Lee Allen, Sr., 63, of Tuskegee, Alabama.

Born, March 19.1954, Mr. Allen transitioned into eternity, Tuesday, January 2, 2018.

Services celebrating his earthly life are scheduled for Saturday, January 13,2018 at 11:00 am from the sanctuary of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Midway, Alabama (Pine Grove Community).

Words of comfort will be rendered by the Pastor, Rev. W. J. Glover.

Interment will follow in the Dawson Baptist Cemetery.

Mr. Allen will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the Celebration Services.

Public visitation will be held on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

Walter Lee Allen, Sr. was born March 19, 1954 in Hannon, Alabama. He confessed his belief in Christ at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church of Hurtsboro. Walter departed this life on January 2, 2018 at home with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Inell Allen and his father, Russell Allen.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Patricia Allen of Tuskegee, AL.; four daughters: Tari Allen, Latosha Jackson, and Francesca Jackson, all of Tuskegee, AL., and Maxine Copeland of Columbus, GA.; two sons: Walter Lee Allen, Jr. of Tuskegee, AL. and Terrance Jackson of Opelika, AL.; eleven grandchildren: Asmine Jones, Jasmine Allen, John Jones, Rico Jones, Ladarius Anderson, Latasha Allen, WaltQuavious Avery, Isabella Jackson, Jessica Copeland, Jose Copeland, James Copeland; mother-in-law, Annie Katie Jackson; one sister: Mary Alice (William) Porter of Union Springs, AL.; four brothers-in-law: William (Mary Alice) Porter and Edward Jackson, all of Union Springs, AL., Willie Jackson of Tuskegee, AL., Donald Lampley of Midway, AL.; two sisters-in-law: Cynthia Cyrus of Montgomery, AL and Mary Ann Lampley of Midway, AL; one uncle: Ulysses Davis of Union Springs, AL.; two nieces: Shelia Heard of Tuskegee, AL. and Veronica Golatte of Notasulga, AL.; and numerous other relatives and friends.
