Victoria Cargle Jones

Victoria Cargle Jones, age 86 gained her wings on July 1, 2021. Victoria made her debut into this world on October 10, 1934 to the union of the late Ira Sr. and Victoria Cargle.

Victoria loved Jesus Christ and accepted the Lord as her savior at an early age. Victoria joined and faithfully served as a dedicated Mt. Calvary Baptist Church member until her health would no longer allow her physical attendance.

Victoria was married to the late Jesse Jones. Victoria had a passion for baking and fishing.

Victoria was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, five sisters and one grandson.

Today, we celebrate one of God’s finest angels – a soft-spoken, virtuous, humble woman. To keep her memories alive, Victoria leaves to forever cherish her legacy, Children: Ben Cargle of Banks, Alabama; Marilyn Cargle of Montgomery, Alabama; Kenneth (Camelia) Cargle of Troy, Alabama; Aaron Sr. (Carol) Cargle of Montgomery, Alabama; Amy Bowens of Pike Road, Alabama and Monica (Kelvin Sr.) Graves of Montgomery, Alabama. Grandchildren: Diamond Cargle, Sahbaka Cargle, Delfonzo Cargle, Khalida (Teon Sr.) Price of Belleville, Michigan; Aaron Cargle Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama; Christopher Cargle of Huntsville, Alabama; Kamya Graves of Birmingham, Alabama; Tionna Cargle of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Kelvin Graves Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama. Great Grandchildren: Thomas Cargle, Kayla Price, Teon Price II and Briana Cargle of Belleville, Michigan. Daughter-in-Love: Esther Cargle of Belleville, Michigan. Son-in-Love: Greg Horton of Montgomery, Alabama. Siblings: Bessie Thomas of Birmingham, Alabama; Addie Thompson of Montgomery, Alabama and Harold (Lillie) Cargle of Corona, New York. Brother-in-Law: Lee Otis Jones of Union Springs, Alabama. Sister-in-Laws: Mary Davis of Union Springs, Alabama and Rebecca (Gary) Bonner of Bay Minette, Alabama. Dedicated Friends: Tommie O’Neal of Union Springs, Alabama and Mattie Lou Ousley of Sardis, Alabama. Other Daughter: Lashonda (our lil sister) Wheeler of Montgomery, Alabama. Special Healthcare Warriors: Beverly Crawford Williams; Keisha Shepherd; Kandaci Person of Union Springs, Alabama and Cynthia Smith of Clayton, Alabama. And a host of other caring family and friends.

Church Side Service and Interment will be held Friday, July 9, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in the Indian Creek Community. Pastor H. J. Fowler, Officiating Carter Funeral Home, Directing
