Obituary For Lorraine Fournier Williams

Lorraine Fournier Williams,95, of Pine Mountain, Georgia passed away peacefully at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange, Georgia on Monday, June 21,2021. She was born in Fall River Massachusetts on May 24, 1926 to the late Albert and Exilda Fournier.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Williams; sister Irene (James) Kalliavas; brothers Albert (Rita) Fournier, and Norman Fournier; sister Vivian Fournier. She is survived by her five sons Bobby (Mary Katherine) Williams, Andy (Yeng Hui) Williams, Johnny (Gail) Williams, David (Alicia) Williams, Michael (Margaret) Williams; sister Nancy Fournier; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Williams worked for over twenty years at Mansours in LaGrange, Georgia. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Lanett, Alabama and attended Christ the King Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia. She was an avid cook, enjoyed reading, playing cards, making puzzles and spending time with her family.

The family would like to express thanks to Lorraine’s caregivers, Sue Mauldin, Delilah Autrey, Ruby Roberto, Sophia Mann, Debbie Whittle and Shirley Booker.

The family will greet friends for Visitation on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 6:00-7:30 pm EDT at Bluffton Funeral Services in Lanett, Alabama.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at 11:00 am EDT at Christ the King Church in Pine Mountain, Georgia followed by interment at Marseilles Cemetery in West Point, Georgia. The family will greet friends immediately after the graveside service at Oakhurst, 19710 Hwy 219 West Point, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to West Georgia Hospice, 1510 Vernon Rd, LaGrange, Georgia.
