Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. ET, Saturday, May 8, 2021 in the Marseilles Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Trammell, Eulogist, Rev. Michael Stiggers and Rev. Patrick Turner, Assisting.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 at the mortuary.
Mr. Keith A. Buckner, son of the late Leon and Annie Carol Buckner, was born on February 11, 1964, in Troup County, GA. On Monday, May 3, 2021, the angels of Heaven stood by his bedside and whispered, “Come with me for eternal rest.” Keith received his education in the West Point City School System. He always greeted you with a big smile and a pleasant conservation. Keith was formerly employed by “Big Chick” and “King Fried Chicken” with over 20 years of service combined.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Debra Buckner and Marie Buckner; maternal grandparents, Kell and A.C. Smith; paternal grandparents, Otis and Sarah Buckner; aunts, Sarah Mae Frazier, Lucile Milton and Lorene Buckner; uncles, Billie Joe Buckner, Edward Buckner and Dan Buckner.
Keith leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Dikeisha Thomas Buckner and ZaQuareia Buckner; his son, Javontae Cooper; siblings; Patricia Williams, Leon Buckner, Sarah Johnson, Brenda Buckner, Wanda Buckner, Melissa Buckner all of West Point, GA, David (Maurice) Buckner, Valley, AL and Kenneth (LaTonya) Buckner, Newnan, GA; aunts, Delores Smith, Bernice Smith, Bronx, NY, Geraldine Buckner, Camphill, AL and Diane Buckner, Alexander City, AL; uncles, Calvin Smith, Harlem, NY, Willie C. Buckner, Saginaw, MI and Lewis Buckner, Grand Rapids, MI, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; very dear and special friend, Andrew Spence, Rev.
