Lyles, Mr. Limuel Maurice, a resident of Opelika, AL, died Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at his residence.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Friday, April 23, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. (CST) at Evergreen Cemetery, Opelika, AL with Bishop Larry Johnson officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Mr. Lyles is survived by: his loving mother, Juanita Lyles; one brother, Anthony Lyles; nephew, Brian Thomas; great-niece, Phazah Gardner; his aunt, Era Gordon; god-sister, Joan (Greg) Brown; other relatives and friends.

Hi family!! I remembered Limuel from my first grade class at Jeter Street Elementary School. Our first grade teacher was Mrs. Grant, and I felt I wanted to marry Limuel when I grew up. It's funny, we did not even know how to spell the word marriage at that time, and he did not know or realize how I felt about him at our 6-year-old time either (smile). Goes to show us how connected we all really are. Just wanted to share that little tidbit with you family to make you smile, and to know Limuel was a good, loving and decent person.
