Carter Funeral Home respectfully announces the transition of Mrs. Beatrice K. Foster, 79, of the Peachburg Road Community. Born November 5,1937,Mrs. Foster transitioned into eternity June 9,2017.

Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday, June 17,2017 at 12:00 noon from the sanctuary of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church,Brown Street,Union Springs, Alabama.

Words of comfort will be delivered by the pastor, Rev. Tommy Cooper,Sr.

Interment will in the Mt. Azure Baptist Cemetery. Mrs. Foster will lie,in repose at the church one hour prior to,Celebration of Life Services.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday.June 16,2017 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm at Carter Funeral Home.

A TIME TO BE BORN: Sis. Beatrice Foster was born November 5, 1937 in Bullock County, Alabama to the late Mr. Milton Kendrick and Annie Provo Kendrick, and a loving step-mother Mildred Kendrick. She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Bro. Early Foster, Jr. She confessed Christ at an early age, later joining Zion Hill Baptist Church, Miami, FL. She later moved back to Union Springs, AL., and joined Morning Star Baptist Church where she served faithfully until the end. Sis. Foster loved praying and singing praises to God.

A TIME TO DIE: Ms. Beatrice Foster departed from this life on June 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents: Milton Kendrick and Annie Provo Kendrick; step-mother: Mildred Kendrick. She was also preceded in death by a loving husband, Early Foster, Jr.; one grandson: Corddero; three sisters: Lillie Barns, Effie Woodard and Daisy Williams; seven brothers: Milton Kendrick, Jr., Willie Kendrick, James Kendrick, Howard Clark, Moses Kendrick, Eddie Kendrick and Curtis Kendrick.

A TIME TO MOURN: Sis. Foster leaves to cherish her most precious memories: one loving son: Rev. John E. (Gwen) Foster; one step-daughter: Betty (Ken) Hollis; one granddaughter: Latangee Hollis; three grandsons: Carl, Courtney and Ken Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; five sisters:Johnnie Minnefield of Haines City, FL., Alberta Anderson, Beverly Kendrick, Callie Pickett, Georgia Kendrick, all of Union Springs, AL.; one brother: Turner Kendrick of Haines City, FL.; two brothers-in-law: Wather Williams of Haines City, FL., and Johnnie Woodard of Miami, FL.; three very devoted cousins: Martha Jones, Frosie Williams, and Betty Reid, all of Union Springs, AL.; two sisters-in-law: Clissie Davis of Columbus, GA. And Julius Reeses of Midway, AL; a devoted friend: Lela Pugh; a cousin: Willie Maybelle; and a godly mother: M. Jordan.
