Born September 18,1933, Mr. Cooper transitioned into eternity Wednesday, June 7,2017 at the Southern Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A TIME TO BE BORN On September 18, 1933 in Nassau, Bahamas our Heavenly Father blessed the late Willard and Hilda Taylor Cooper with a handsome baby boy. His name was Allan Cooper, affectionately known as “Freddie”.
A TIME TO LIVE Allan accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and upon moving to Miami, FL he joined Gesu Catholic Church of Miami, Florida. A few years later he met his wife, Gladys Streeter Cooper. He worked in construction until he retired in 1994. Allan was a man devoted to spending time with is loved ones. His love for them could not go unnoticed as he liked to share endless memories of the precious times they shared together. At family events he would be the life of the party, he loved to dance and get everyone else moving with him. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, a daughter Doretha “Shorty” Conley-Benn, three brothers, and two sisters
A TIME OF PEACE Allan Cooper answered his final calling from our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Southern Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center in Union Springs, AL.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Gladys Streeter Cooper; Three daughters, Cassandra Cooper, Union Springs, AL, Barbara (Anthony) BainRoach, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Doris Jean Robinson, Tampa, FL; three sons, Allan (Barbara) Cooper Jr., Tampa, FL Charles Bain, Union Springs, AL, and Tracey Foster, Union Springs, AL; twentyone grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. His extended family: Jacqueline McKenzie, Gwendolyn Foster, Stacey Foster, and a devoted c o u s i n Theophilus Taylor.
