Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Olive Branch Cemetery #2 located on 1015-701 Cousins Rd Greenville GA. Pastor Billy J. Woods (God’s Tabernacle of Praise Baptist Church, Union City, Ga.), Eulogist.
Public viewing will be held on Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Due to COVID-19 concerns everyone in attendance at the Graveside and the viewing must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.
Ricky E. Harris began his journey of life on May 25, 1960 in Lone Oak, Georgia to the late Walter and Rosie Lee Harris. Ricky attended Greenville High School. Early in life he joined White Plains United Methodist Church. In 2002 he followed his heart and united his membership with his late wife Yolanda Harris and family and became a member of God’s Tabernacle of Praise Baptist Church where he was in dedicated service with the ushers ministry where he could be found at the door every first and third Sunday he later attended Emmanuel Ministries in 2014 there he continued to enjoy service on the ushers ministry.
Ricky was employed at Mando America in Hogansville, Georgia for 10 years he lived life to the fullest always smiling and when not working he could always be found at a fishing pond.
Ricky answered the Masters call and departed this life on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers James Harris (Bruh) Isaiah Harris (Buddy) Thomas Harris and sister Linda Johnson.
Ricky leaves to cherish his memories one son, Marcus (Alexandria) Towns; three daughters, Nosha Harris, Nakiska (Daniel) Black and Valyncia Cameron; ten grandchildren; three sisters, Sheri (Clarence) Dean, Martha Reeves and Phyllis Williams; two brothers, Michael (Angela) Harris, San (Cassandra) Harris and a host of nieces and nephews.
