Mrs. Graves, 61, passed away February 16, 2021, in Montgomery, Alabama.
Celebration of Life Services and Interment will be held, Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Second Missionary Baptist Cemetery of the Thompson Community.
Pastor Ibrahim K. Lee will deliver the message of comfort and strength. The service will be live streamed on Carter Funeral Home Facebook page. (see clickable link below)
Public visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

Ms. Gloria “Ann” Graves was born on September 17, 1959 in Midway, Alabama to the late Alto Lee Graves, Sr. and Iola Graves.
Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family. God called His angel home on February 16, 2021. Gloria was also preceded in death by her two sisters: Savannah Miles and Victoria Graves.
Gloria’s great memories will be cherished by: three daughters, Laketha (Keith) Banks, Lashetha Graves, and Treasure Robbins, all of Midway, AL; five grandchildren, Cortevis Williams, Ja’Kyus McCoy, Corderrius Williams, Ja’Nia Watts, and Lei’Ann Anderson; a loving a devoted mother, Iola Graves; three sisters, Patricia (George) Banks, Rosie (Henry) Sparks, and Linda (Michael) Cooper; three brothers, Alto (May Francis) Graves, Jr., Raymond (Coresa) Graves, and Royzell Grazes; a devoted friend, Consuella Fowler; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews: “Gloria was not just an aunt to her nieces and nephews, she was a mom to many; cousins, family and friends.
