Constance Thornton

12/01/1991 - 02/20/2021

Ms. Constance Nall Thornton passed away peacefully Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center due to complications of Sickle Cell Anemia.

Constance was affectionately known as “Connie” by her loving family and “CeCe” by her close friends. She was a beautiful kind hearted person who loved helping people; even during her early teens she volunteered with the Piedmont Midtown Medical Center as a summer youth volunteer where she was assigned to the gift shop and high risk nursery. She later volunteered at Sarah Spano Clothing Bank in Columbus, GA. as well as the Columbus Museum in the education department. She had the greatest heart of not only helping man because of her appreciation of God’s creation but also it is what drove her compassion for loving and caring for her pet cats. Although Connie battled with Sickle Cell from birth she never focused on her pain and suffering but on how she could help others.

A 2010 class graduate of W. H. Spencer High School, she later attended Virginia College in addition to attending Strayer University where she was striving to obtain a degree in Business Administration-Marketing.

CeCe leaves behind to cherish her beloved memories; her mother, Erica B. Willis(Sam, Jr.); her father, Robbie Nall(Val); her son, Justin D. Nall; her sister, Alecia Willis; two brothers, Branden Nall, Kanavisa Willis; three aunts, Kimberly Kimbrough, Schwanica Nixon, Shunta Walker; her maternal grandparents, Addie Stephens(Harold), Marshall Butler(Sonia); her paternal grandmother, Katherine Nall; a devoted friend, Carlos Hixson; and a host of other relatives and friends.
