With humble respect, Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Mrs. Mary Ann Baham Spencer,70, of Union Springs, Alabama, Born, February 14, 1946, in Louisiana, Mrs. Spencer the widow of Mr. Henry Spencer transitioned on Saturday December 31, 2016 at her residence.

Celebration of Life Services will be Monday, January 2, 2017 at 11:00 am from the Second Baptist Church Cemetery, Union Springs, Alabama.

Words of comfort will be delivered by Rev. Ibrahim K. Lee, pastor of the Second Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends at the Second Baptist Church, one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.

Mary Ann Baham Spencer was born February 14, 1946 in Tallulah, Louisiana to Jones and Louvenia Baham. In 1965, she graduated from Commerce High School in New York City, New York. Mary later relocated to Saginaw, Michigan before finally settling in Union Springs, Alabama.

Preceded in death by her husband, Henry Spencer and one son, Michael Evans, Mary transitioned on December 31, 2016.

Left to cherish her memories are four children: Michelle (James) Osmond, Ebony (Jerome) Jackson, Kimberly Spencer, and Jeffrey Spencer; one sister, Diana(Morris), Baham Calhoun; five grandchildren: Steve EvansKing, Diamantae Evans, Mikeita Evans, Steffani Osmond, Saniya Jackson, and Grayson Grady; and numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved granddog, “Macho Man”.
