Born February 21,2016, Mr. Hoyle transitioned into eternity December 1,2016.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday,December 9,2016 from 2 pm until 7 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Saturday December 10,2016 at 12 noon from the sanctuary of the Oak Grove Number 4 Baptist Church 3722 Griswold Jackson Road, Fitzpatrick, Alabama. Rev. John Jackson, pastor.
Eulogy will be rendered by the Rev. William Fubderburg.
Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Number 4 Church Cemetery.
Mr Hoyle will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to Celebration of Life Services.
Joseph Hoyle Sr., affectionately known as Peg Leg, was born to the late Olivia Hoyle Barnes and Johnny Green Sr. in Macon County, Alabama.
Joe confessed Christ at an early age and united with the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Union Springs, Alabama. He later united with the Oak Grove #4 Baptist Church, Fitzpatrick, Alabama.
Joe was a graduate of Carver High School in Bullock County, Alabama. He retired from driving trucks, a job in which he found great fulfillment. Joe transitioned to eternal rest on December 1, 2016. He was surrounded by family and friends.
Precious and loving memories will be shared by his wife of twenty –two years, Dorothy Hoyle, Fitzpatrick, Alabama; Seven sons, Andre(Lisa) Lee, Florida; Joseph Hoyle Jr., Antonie Hoyle, Anthony Hoyle, Nyrod(LaTonya)Hoyle, and Jeremiah Hoyle, Union Springs, Alabama; Irvin Ellington, Montgomery, Alabama. Four step-children, Dorita Powell-Willams and Merwyn K. Powell, Hueytown, Alabama; Dorlissa P. (Lester)Reeves, Pleasant Grove, Alabama, LaKesha D. Powell, Brighton, Alabama; Three sisters, Mary Helen(LeDuane)Walden, Rochester, New York, Aleathia(Anthony) Neal, Bronx, New York, Gwendolyn Barnes, Manhattan, New York; Brothers, Bobby(Jessie) Barnes, Copiague, New York, Jeremiah Barnes, New Burn, N.C; Two Aunts, Vita Hoyle, Brooklyn, New York and Ester Hoyle, Jamaica, New York. Joe leaves eleven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nine step grandchildren, two step great-grandchildren. He leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Through his union with Dorothy, he was blessed with a father and mother in law, George & Cora Powell, Hueytown, Alabama.
