Obituary For Carolyn Joyce Woodruff

We respectfully announce the passing of Ms. Carolyn Joyce Woodruff on January, 17th, 2021.

A private memorial service has been scheduled.

TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD!

This became a reality for Ms. Carolyn Joyce Woodruff on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Carolyn Joyce Person was born April 10, 1941 to the late parents, Ammie and Lela Ridley Person of Franklin, Georgia. She was also preceded in death by her only brother, Ridley Eugene Person of Franklin, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her many sweet memories with an adorable son, Arthez Woodruff of LaGrange, Georgia; a beautiful caring daughter in law, Marilyn Woodruff of LaGrange, Georgia, who she referred to as a daughter; two sisters, Floyce Kilby of Newnan, Georgia; Cloyce Tucker of Franklin, Georgia; one loving sister in law, Sarah Person of Franklin, Ga.; two special grandchildren, Braelin and Breana Mitchell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Carolyn achieved many accomplishments in life, but the greatest of all was getting saved and becoming a mastermind for Christ! She taught many Bible Classes, Sunday School, and was always anxious and qualified to provide intelligent Biblical advice to the numerous people that consulted her.

Carolyn was also a phenomenal Registered Nurse, where she received her Nursing Degree from LaGrange College. She worked in the Medical Profession for over forty (40) years and was delighted to assist many people that required Medical attention.

She will be greatly missed, but remember, she has gained eternal life with Jesus Christ.

Arrangements by Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.
