Mr. Williams was formerly employed at Columbus State University where he worked as a groundskeeper for many years. He was a devout member of New Destiny Church International where he served faithfully on the Deacon’s Ministry. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Joyce Middleton. Survivors include; his wife, Cynthia D. Williams; his children, April Tyson, Walter Williams, Jr., Shantawan Allen, Marcus M. Reese, Marlon J. Reese; a brother, Sterling Williams; two sisters, Lovie Griffin, Shirley Latham, ten grandchildren; and a host of great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Services for Mr. Williams will be held Friday, January 22, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at New Destiny Church International, Pastor Quin Hardnett will be officiating.
He will be laid to rest in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery following his Homegoing Service.
Visitation Hours will be held Thursday beginning at 3:00 and ending at 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home
