Obituary For Betty Conley

Progressive Funeral Home respectfully announces the passing of Betty Conley age 82 of Columbus, GA on January 8, 2021.

Mrs. Betty “BJ” Conley, born June 28, 1938 passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was married to the late SFC James G. Conley, Sr. and was preceded in death by her mother, Addie Bell Tolbert, daughter, Carles A. Tolbert, and brother, Eugene Tolbert, all of Cartersville, Georgia.

She leaves precious memories with her children, Barbara Conley, Beth Bunkley (Michael), Beverly Grant (Kirk), James Conley, Jr., and Timothy Conley (Alicia), and host of relatives and friends.

Mrs. Conley will be laid to rest on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. graveside at Fort Benning Main Post Cemetery, 64-66 Custer Rd, Columbus, GA 31905 with Pastor Cynthia Davis officiating.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021 beginning at 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 PM at Progressive Funeral Home, 4235 St. Mary’s Road, Columbus, Georgia 31907
