Obituary For Mr. Chester Heard

Heard, Mr. Chester, a longtime resident of Valley, AL, died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at The Heights on Huebner, San Antonio, TX.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 17, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. (EST) at Zion Rest Baptist Church Cemetery, Fob James Drive, Valley, AL, Rev. Fredrick Stanley, Pastor and Pastor Mamie L. Pennington officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Chester Will Heard was born November 14, 1956 in Chambers County, Alabama. He was the eighth child born to the late Napoleon and Mary Lee Heard. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member and was baptized at Zion Rest Baptist Church in Valley, AL. Chester was loving and easy going always having a smile on his face. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Napoleon and Mary Lee Heard; sister, Hyburnia Heard Fears; and his brother, Caesar Lee Heard.

On, Sunday, January 10, 2021, the Lord saw fit to call one of His special servants’ home, Chester Will Heard.

Chester will be dearly missed and his memories will forever be in the hearts of his children: Kishieka (Wendell) Hadnot, Fort Worth, TX; and Shenica (Charles) Trammell, San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren: Charles L. Trammell III, Serenity M. Trammell, William L. Hadnot, Kendall C. Hadnot and Trinity T. Trammell; sisters, Dora P. (Eli) Luke, Temple, GA, Marcella Heard Montfort, Atlanta, GA and Drewciller Heard Hardy, Valley AL; brothers, Clarence N. Heard, Spurgeon A. (Delois) Heard and Gary K. Heard all of Valley, AL, Dale Heard, Huntsville, AL, Jerome (Judy) Heard, Tampa, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wow I just can't believe this.Chester was a humble lil fella. All he did was smile and laugh.when I did see him which wasn't much. I always would make him laugh. And carpenter work. Chester could do it all. He wouldn't be in a hurry. But when he did finish it was well done. Rest in Heaven my friend.u will be missed dearly. My condolences goes out to the family.
