Doris was born on January 3, 1962 to the late Benjamin Jordan, Jr. and the late Lizzie Kate Foster Jordan. She was raised by her paternal grandparents, the late Benjamin Jordan, Sr. and the late Dollie Mae Jordan. She confessed to Christ at an early age. She was a member of the Hayes Hill Baptist Church. She attended school at Bullock County High. In the early 80, she moved to Columbus, Ga. She was employed at Canterbury Health Facility for 20+ years. Doris walked in the arm of her Lord and Savior on July 29, 2016. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: the late Early Foster, Sr. and the late Mollie Mae Foster; a sister: Joyce Ann Jordan; a brother: Carl B. Jordan; a grandson: Jon’Tavious Jordan; a nephew: Ja’Corey Jordan. She leaves to hold her precious memories: her husband, Robert William; a loving devoted daughter, Deronica Latil Jordan; 2 rays of sunshine in her life, her two grandsons: Jon’darius Jordan and Don’Qarious Jordan; stepmother, Ann Jordan; 2 sisters: Debra (Jhomy) Henderson “her twin” and Olivia Jordan both of Columbus, Ga.; three step-sisters: Sonja (William) Walton of Columbus, Ga., Shantell (Patrick) Adam of Fort Mitchel, Al., and Debra King of Atlanta, Ga.; one brother: Tornez Jordan of Atlanta, Ga.; two step-brothers: Marickus Coppin of Phoenix City, Al. and Freeman King of Midway, Al.; a step-grandmother: Gertrude Jordean of Tuskegee, Al.; seven aunts, five uncles, two great-great aunts; one sister-in-law: Brenda Jordan; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, friends who love her dearly. A lifelong friend, Peggy Jackson of Midway, Al., and Valeria Denise Gorner of Columbus, Ga. Special friend, Andrea Hamilton.
