Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the peaceful transition of Mrs. Annie P. Rodgers, 80, of Bullock County, Alabama.

Mrs. Rodgers gained her wings of eternal life on November 20, 2020 in Montgomery, Alabama.

Celebration of Life Services and Interment will be held at the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Cemetery of the Pine Grove Community, Midway, Alabama, on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 am.

The message of triumph will be delivered by Pastor W. J. Glover of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. Public visitation will be held Saturday, November 27, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home of Union Springs, Alabama.

All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Facial coverings for all attendees are mandated per an executive order of the Governor of the State of Alabama.

July 7, 1940, Mr. John Blue and Mrs. Annie Bell Garrett Blue were blessed with a beautiful daughter, they loved as Annie Pearl. She confessed a belief in Christ at an early age and was a faithful servant of the Fellowship Baptist Church of Midway, Alabama Educated in the local school system, she was a lifelong resident of Bullock County. Devoted to her family she loved taking care of her family and cherished the moments she could devote to her favorite pastime, fishing. Preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Johnnie Mae Simmons, her husband Seymore and their son, Seymore, Jr.

Annie Pearl answered the Masters Call on November 20, 2020.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her children: Jessie (Chester) Townsend, Banks, AL; Betty (Sammy) Person, Union Springs, AL; Dollie Rodgers, Ft. Mitchell, AL; John (April) Rodgers, Midway, AL; Willie Dean (Nettie) Rodgers, Eufaula, AL; Gloria (Luther) Jones, Auburn, AL; Vincent (Tina) Rodgers, Columbus, GA; Her brother, William Blue, Midway, AL along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several other loving relatives and friends including, her best friends: Susie Mae Jones, Mattie Lee Rogers and Elvina Rogers
