Obituary For Mrs. Mattie F. Washington Wright

Wright, Mrs. Mattie F. Washington, a resident of Lanett, AL, died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at LaGrange Hospice in LaGrange, GA.

Graveside Services are scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. (EST) at Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, AL with Pastor Vernon Carter officiating. Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Confessing Christ at an early age, Mattie became a member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church of Lanett, AL where she attended regularly and was a member of the senior choir. She later became a member of Berean Church International of Lanett.

Her survivors include: her children, Beverly Wright, Gary Wright, Valerie Wright (Vernon) Carter, Milton Wright and Eric Wright all of Lanett and Valley, AL; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Catherine Roberts-Walton, Diane Brooks-Coleman and Lela Pearl Brooks-Robinson all of Detroit, MI; and, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
