Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the sudden transition of Mr. Robert Walker Jenkins, 40, of Union Springs, Alabama.

“Puddy’ as he was known to many, transitioned into eternity on October 20, 2020.

Celebration of Life services and Interment will be held Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 1:00 pm from the Second Missionary Baptist Cemetery of the Thompson Community

Pastor Ibrahim K. Lee will deliver the message of comfort. Public visitation will be held Friday, October 30,, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home of Union Springs, Alabama.

All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Facial coverings for all attendees are mandated per an executive order of the Governor of the State of Alabama.

A Time to be Born: Robert (Puddy) Jenkins was born July 19,1980 in Bullock County, Al. He was the tenth child born to Mr.and Mrs. Robert and Mary Walker.

A Time to Die: God called our beloved one home to be with him Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in Union Springs, Al.

“Hey y’all, excuse me for not standing (HIM WITH HIS SILLY GRIN) and sorry I’m not able to fix your vehicle, cut your grass, plow your fields, cut your hair, pickup a bag of peppermint, or stop by Churche’s for a piece of chicken, vacuum the floor, get on your nerves, send you a text or even tell a joke to make you laugh; for I am now finally resting”

Robert (Puddy) Jenkins was preceded in death by Two brothers Sidney (Mae Nella) Jenkins and James Jenkins, One sister Robin Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Mother and Father Mr. and Mrs. Robert & Mary Walker, of Union Springs, Al; Three Children Elijah Jenkins Auburn Al; BriAnna Jenkins Highland Home, Al; Gabriel Jenkins of Opelika, Al; eleven sisters, Shirley Owens, of Phoenix Arizona; Elizabeth Fitzpatrick, Ella (James) Baldwin, Jennifer Baldwin All of Fitzpatrick, Al; Bobbie (Tony) Rumph, of Waverly, Al; Angela (Ernest) Holmes, Ruby (Samuel) Baldwin both of Montgomery, Al; Kristern Pearson, Mattie Jenkins, Varonica (Christopher) Baskin, and Denise Jenkins all of Union Springs, Al. Five Brothers Henry Jenkins, Robert Rodgers both of Union Springs, Al; Jonnie (Jasmine) Jenkins of Troy, Al; Anthony Baldwin, and Robert Baldwin both of Fitzpatrick, Al; two aunts, Mattie (Don) Williams, Annie Jenkins both of Union Springs, Al; One uncle Willie Henry(Mary) Jenkins of Union springs, Al; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.
