Carter Funeral Home humbly announces the sudden transition of Mr. Jeffrey Allan Spencer of Montgomery, Alabama.

A member of the Bullock County High School Graduating Class of 2004 transitioned into eternity on October 14,2020.

Born in Michigan, Jeffrey was an extremely hard worker and was noted as being an Outstanding Officer at the Bullock County Correctional Facility.

His life will be celebrated on Friday, October 23, 2020.

Celebration of Life Services and Interment will be held at 11:00 am from the Second Baptist Church Cemetery in the Thompson Community.

Public visitation will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home of Union Springs, Alabama. and on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the Second Baptist Church.

All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Facial coverings for all attendees are mandated per an executive order of the Governor of the State of Alabama.

Jeffrey Allan Spencer was born June 23, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan to Henry Lee and Mary Baham Spencer. Later, he relocated from Michigan to Union Springs, Alabama along with his parents and siblings.

He confessed Christ at an early age at Second Baptist Church in the Thompson Community of Union Springs, Alabama. In 2004, he graduated from Bullock County High School in Union Springs, Alabama. He was employed by Alabama Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer at Bullock County Correctional Facility in Union Springs, Alabama.

Jeffrey was a fun and loving person who was very outgoing. He believed in putting other people's needs before his own. He was a big time Auburn fan and anyone who knew him knew that he was a huge Lebron James fan as well. Jeffrey will be truly missed.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mary Spencer; and brother, Michael Evans. Jeffrey transitioned into eternity on October 14, 2020.

Left to cherish his memories are five sisters: Michelle (James) Osmond, Sharon Spencer, Takeya Butler, Terry Green, Ebony (Jerome Jr.) Jackson, and Kimberly Spencer; one brother: Henry Spencer Jr.; three nephews: Steve Evans-King, Diamantae Evans, and Grayson Grady; five nieces: Mikeita Evans, Nycirah Patton, Steffani Osmond, Saniya Jackson, and Autumn Grady; one aunt: Diana B. Calhoun; one uncle: Robert (Mary) Cunningham; along with a host of cousins, family, and friends.
