I was born Sarah Love Sewell. My birthdate is November 18, 1935. On Tuesday morning, September 1, 2020 I was summoned home to glory. My mother was the late Miss Susie Sewell. I had one sister. Her name is the late Mrs. Daisy Sewell-Stegall.

I married the late Willie Amos Coverson in 1957. I missed him dearly. I will be looking for him here in my new home. I attended church and school at the Zion Hill Baptist Church. I was an active member of the Usher Board, Mother Board, Deaconess Ministry, Widow Ministry and Sunday School.

I have a strong faith and belief in God and knew that He was and is the sustainer of my life. I thank Him daily for my earthly life. To my family, I say “thank you for the love and joy you brought to my life”. You were the “wind beneath my wings” and I will always love you for the love you showed me. Thank you for the wonderful care you gave to me during my illness. To you Daniel, thank you for the love and support shown during my illness. I am so proud to call you “son”. To Brittany, Danielle, Marcus and Dallas; I love each of you more than you could imagine. Live your life according to God’s will. Trust Him and He will direct your path. Know Him and you will live again.

I leave to cherish my memories two daughters: Carol Frances Hill and Elizabeth Anita Williams (Daniel) and a nephew (Kenard) that I love dearly.

I also leave behind in-laws, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. I will miss each of you. You all were special to me.

Arrangements entrusted to Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.
