There are so many wonderful memories of your mother, Patti. The one that always stands out to me is how kind and caring she was to your daddy every day. He came home for lunch and she had the table set, ready, and waiting with the food she'd prepared. They sat cozily across from each other in that little nook. All the food groups were represented, and the finishing touch was a parfait glass containing fresh fruit. I complimented her on her gracious style and meticulous attention to detail when it was only the two of them dining. Her reply was, "He deserves it." Unforgettably appreciative wife and nurturer. She was the best!
