Obituary For Rodney Aaron Lott

Rodney Aaron Lott, 51, of Valley, Alabama gained his heavenly reward on August 1, 2020.

Rodney was a dedicated member of West Point Presbyterian Church where he taught children’s Sunday School for many years. He was known for his intense love of the Lord and his deep desire to help others. He would often be seen praying for others whether at the pharmacy, on the side of the road or in the Kroger parking lot. He loved to sing in church, at nursing homes or with family. Rodney never met a stranger and he genuinely wanted to know everyone’s name and their story. He was a great husband, brother, uncle, cousin, neighbor and friend.

The family will greet friends for Visitation on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm EDT in Davis Hall of West Point Presbyterian Church, West Point Georgia.

A memorial service will be held following visitation at 2:00 pm EDT in the sanctuary of West Point Presbyterian Church.

I have so many wonderful memories of this wonderful man! He made a difference in my life! I have not ever met anyone like him. He was bound and determined to live his best life no matter what life through at him. He made you feel like you were the only one that mattered when he was talking with you!! I will miss my friend but I know I will see him again! As we promised each other last Wednesday, we will see each other again! I love him and Carmen and all the Lott family!!

(Uncle) Rodney was one of the most kind hearted people I've ever met. I really enjoyed when me and my church Victory Baptist Church was volunteered to help build his house. I really had a blessing doing that. I enjoyed the joking around and cutting up having fun with him. I will miss you. Gone but not forgotten.

Yet memories of child hood of Rodney had was spectacular watching him for hours. I going to miss him. This is not the last time we will see you their in heaven with other we remember..The road to is hard but,its just got alot more soft for us. Till we meet again smiles to the end my friend.
