Annie Ruth Winston was born on July 14, 1932 to late George Frank Winston and Annie Mae Palmer in Chambers County, AL.

She departed this life surrounded by her loving family on Friday, July 31, 2020 at EAMC-Lanier, Valley, AL to start a new life in Heaven.

Annie accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Goodsell United Methodist Church, Lanett, AL. She was proceeded in death by her parents, two sons, Anthony “Scottie” Crem and Jerry Winston; one grandson, Terry “TR” McCullough and a brother, George “Deak” Winston. Annie Ruth leaves to mourn; one daughter, Deborah Johnson (Reginald), Atlanta, Georgia; one sister, Ruby Johnson,Opelika, AL; one brother, William Winston, Arizona; one granddaughter,Krystal Miller(Timothy), Valley, AL; two grandsons, Jermez Brooks of West Point, GA, and Tasman Harris, Atlanta, GA; two great-grandchildren, Tiarra Miller and Ashaunti Miller, Valley, AL; special nieces and nephews, that she assisted in rasing; Freddie Winston, George Winston(Mary) and Barbara Winston(Aubrey), Louisville, KY and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 12 Noon in the Pinehill Cemetery with the Rev. Stanley Roberts serving as the Eulogist.

Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 5, 2020 at the mortuary.
