Affectionately known as Mike, Mr. Duncan passed away July 18, 2020.
Celebration of Life Services and interment will be held, Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. from the Walton Chapel Methodist Cemetery of the Aberfoil Community, Union Springs, AL. The message of acceptance will be rendered by Bishop Givens.
Public visitation will be held Friday, July 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.
All services and visitations will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols. Facial coverings for all attendees are mandated per an executive order of the Governor of the State of Alabama.
Mr. Marquis Duncan was born to Mr. Charles Duncan and the late Evangelist Mattie Thornton Duncan on July 13, 1968 in Tuskegee, Alabama. He was the second oldest of five children.
Marquis was baptized at an early age. He had a personal and special relationship with the Lord whom he truly knew as His savior.
Beautiful memories will always be cherished by his fiancée of seventeen years, Ms. Lorraine Threat; father, Charles Duncan; sister, Felicia (Fitzgerald) Mims; brothers, Charles C. Duncan, Jarvis (Vanessa) Duncan and Damon (Linda) Duncan; two special daughters, Kimberly Mack and Artrcia Todd; one son, Captain Kirby Threat; along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews including his two special nephews, Demetrius and Bryant Mims. He will also be remembered by his special friends.
