Obituary For Lillian Gray

Mrs. Lillian Lee Gray, age 74, of LaGrange, GA, formerly of West Point, GA, transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at WellStar West Georgia Medical Center, LaGrange, GA. Lillian, the daughter of late John Lockhart and Janie Lou Brown Lockhart, was born in Harris County, GA on October 17,1945. She was the second oldest of six children born to this union.

She was saved at an early age and joined Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. She was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Eugene Gray, Sr.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene Gray Sr.; daughter, Kathy Lee Ramsey; granddaughter, Brittany S. Ramsey; sister, Jennie Mae Acres; brothers, Jerry and John Lockhart Jr.; aunt, Rosa Lee (Cleve) Barber.

She leaves cherish memories to: her companion, Willie Scott; nine children, Eugene Gray, Alfonzo(Patricia) Gray, Phillip Gray, Raymond Gray, Tyrone (Katrista) Gray, Regina (Fredrick) Gray, Mark(Stephanie) Gray, Timothy (Melinda) Gray, LaTasha (Demetris) Gray; six brothers, Curtis Lockhart, Larry (Lisa) Lockhart, Ollie Todd, Davie Todd, Phillip (Theresa) Todd, Michael Todd; two sisters, Willie Mae (Sidney) Flowers, and Anna Mae Sands; twenty-eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; special brother and sister-in-law, Sylvester (Dorothy) Gray, a host of sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Graveside services for Mrs. Gray will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm EST in the Marseilles Cemetery with the Rev. Jairo Gay, Eulogist.

Public viewing will be on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the mortuary.
