Obituary For Yolanda Black Harris

We respectfully announce the passing of Mrs. Yolanda Black Harris, age 60, of 712 North Boyd Road in Hogansville, Georgia on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Olive Branch Cemetery(#2) located on Georgia Hwy 100 in the Saint Marks Community. Pastor Sequita Freeman, Eulogist.

Pubic viewing will be Sunday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.(Mask Required)

Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a limited number of people at the Graveside Service and everyone in attendance must wear a mask and social distancing is encouraged.

Yolanda Harris was born September 18,1959 in Troup County, GA to the late William and Johnnie Mae Black. She is proceeded in death by two brothers Lamar Black , Walter Black and one sister Phyllis Black Ransom.

She graduated from Hogansville High School in 1976 and later moved to Atlanta where she was employed at Delta Airlines for 15yrs+ until the lost of her sight.

Yolanda gave her life to Christ at an early age. She became a member of Gods Tabernacle of Praise Baptist Church in which she was a dedicated member of the Music Ministry until relocating back to Troup County. She joined Immanuel Ministries in 2014 there she enjoyed the Hospitality and Music Ministry.

Yolanda leaves to cherish a loving Husband Ricky Harris, two daughters Valyncia Cameron and Nakiska (Daniel) Johnson, two children of love Marcus Harris and Nosha Harris, nine grandchildren, four sisters Jennifer (Derrick) Reid, Aretha Black, Debra(Frank) Black and Sharon Black, two Aunts Emma Shanks and Mary Darden and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews
