Mr. Walter R. (Bob) Waldrop 78 of Lanett, Alabama died April 1, 2020 at the East Alabama Medical Center.

He was born in Russell County, Alabama to the late Alvin and Flora Waldrop of Phenix City, Alabama, he attended the Happy Valley Baptist Church, he loved Nascar Racing, Atlanta Braves Baseball, Alabama Football and Gambling.

A memorial graveside service will be held Saturday June 20, 2020 at 10AM (ET) at the Fairfax Cemetery in Valley, Alabama with Chuck Kilcrease officiating.

He is survived by his beloved Wife Margaret Whitley of West Point, Ga. His Sons Robert Waldrop (Grandson) of Valley, Al. Chuck (Carolyn) Kilcrease of LaGrange, Ga. His Daughters Wanda (Dave) Collier of Huguley, Al. Gwen Lauderdale of Greenville, SC Becky (Rusty) Lashley of Lanett, Al. Brother Jesse (Sheila) Waldrop of Phenix City, Al. Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Wife Dorothy Waldrop of Valley, Al.
