Graveside Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. William Howard McBride will be Monday, June 8, 2020 12:00 P.M., at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Lee Road 298, Smiths Station, Alabama. Pastor Jeffery L. McCauley, Officiant.
Public Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, June 7, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.
William Howard McBride was born May 31, 1958 in Phenix City, Alabama to William Homer and Gladys Ferguson McBride. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and united with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the pastoral leadership of the late Rev. Moses Morris.
Affectionately called Howard and “Cutter”, he was a graduate of Smiths Station High School, Class of 1978. At the time of his death he was employed with the Lee County Board of Education in Food Service at the Freshmen Center of Smiths Station Junior High School.
Howard was preceded in death by: his parents; and, four brothers, Willie James White, Calvin McBride, Clifford McBride and Johnny Will McBride. William Howard McBride departed this life on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.
His loving memories will always be cherished by those he left behind: two sisters, Annie F. Williams and Louise Floyd; three brothers, Horris (Linda) McBride, Hayward (Amanda) McBride and Glenn Edward McBride; two sisters-in-law, Fannie K. Davis McBride and Mary McBride; three special friends he loved as his god-grandchildren, Tamia Green, Tia Coker and Brandon Coker; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
