Carter Funeral Home announces the transition of Deacon August Hicks, Sr., 86, of Union Springs, Alabama.

Mr. Hicks peacefully exchanged life for eternity on May 26, 2020 at his residence,

Celebration of Life Services and Interment will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm from the Mt. Canaan Baptist Cemetery of Union Springs, Alabama.

The eulogy will be delivered by Pastor Arthur L Jones.

Public visitation will be held Friday, May 29, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home.

All visitations and services will be conducted exercising prescribed social distancing protocols.
