Obituary For Mrs. Evelyn Snowden Carr

Carr, Mrs. Evelyn Snowden, a resident of Tuskegee Institute, AL, died Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Capitol Hill Healthcare in Montgomery, AL.

Celebration of Life Services are scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2020 from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel, 305 W. F. Burns Drive, Valley, AL with Deacon Stanley Maxwell of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tuskegee Institute, AL officiating.

Due to this unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, in compliance with the State Health Order, funerals are limited to 10 in-person gatherings.

Public Viewing is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.(all times Eastern) at Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel.

Final Care & Arrangements have been entrusted to Davis Memorial Mortuary of Valley, AL.

This may seem strange..but Mrs Carr came into my spirit and I didn't know she had gone on to be with the Lord...I saw Karen in Montgomery some years ago..so I knew her mom was in a facility...ironic its exactly one year ago today that she has taken her wings..but Mrs Carr welcomed me not only into her business to work but invited me in her home as well as a friend...I will never forget how she help me to land a job at First Tuskegee Bank...she was a special lady!!

Kim and Karen my prayers are with you and the family. There us so much I remember about Mrs. Carr growing up across the street and her and my dad getting together on those taxes. Loved playing at your house. Fond memories always. God's peace and comfort.
