Obituary For Mr. Jimmie Lee "James" Hopkins Jr.

Hopkins, Mr. Jimmie Lee "James" Jr., a resident of Lanett, AL, died Monday, March 2, 2020 at Piedmont Midtown Medical Center, Columbus, GA.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from Davis Memorial Mortuary Chapel with Bishop Donald Lancaster officiating.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lanett, AL. Davis Memorial Mortuary directing.

Public Viewing is scheduled for Friday, March 13, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Davis Memorial Mortuary.

Affectionately called James, he accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age. He retired from Foote and Davies Company.

Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Winston.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: one son, Terrell Hopkins, Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Elijah Hopkins, Jerrell Hopkins, Khani Hopkins and Ivan Hopkins all of Atlanta, GA; a loving and devoted sister, Wanda McCants, Lanett, AL; four brothers, Rickey Hopkins, Atlanta, GA, Donald (Yolanda) Hopkins, Lanett, AL, Tyrone (Porscha) Hopkins, San Diego, CA and Dedric (Dana) Foreman, Brandywine, MD; one aunt, Pearl Wilkinson, Atlanta, GA; one brother-in-law, Robert Winston, Lanett, AL; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
