Thomas Randolph Penton, Age 67, of Tampa, passed away Dec. 25th, 2019.

He was born in Coosa County, AL and he grew up in Wetumpka, AL. He has lived in Florida for the past 45 years where he started a family. His perfect day would be out fishing with a cup of coffee. He also loved to write songs and was a Christian. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Claudia Penton, his son Thomas Penton Jr. (his wife Lydia Penton), his daughter Rebecca Proper (her husband Richard Proper) , his Grandson Raylan Proper and his step grandchildren Jon Hefner, Richard Jordan and Andrew Jordan. He also has several Nephews and Nieces. He was preceded in death by his family in Alabama parents, Maxie Weldon, Warren Chelsie Penton, his sisters Lenora, Kathyrn, and his brother Robert.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 4th, with 11am viewing and Funeral at 12pm at Wright's Funeral Home, 131 Mason Street, Alexander City, with burial to follow at Harmony Cemetery located at 8000 Titus Rd. Titus, AL 36080

In Lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate monetary donations to help with funeral cost, food and travel expenses for the funeral.
