Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jenus S. “Sweet” Graham, Jr. will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. EDT in the sanctuary of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in the Ft. Tyler Cemetery.
Mr. Jenus Stephens “Sweet” Graham, Jr. , the son of the Jenus (Sr.) and the late Mrs. Gabrella (Gilliam) Graham was born June 27, 1957 in Troup County, GA. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at East Alabama Medical Center-Lanier, Valley, AL.
Jenus confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior and united with the Bethlehem Baptist Church, West Point, GA. “Sweet”, as he was known, was a product of the West Point Public School System. He was a self-employed barber and a tremendous saxophonist. He played his instrument until failing health. Jenus was an US Army Veteran.
Three brothers preceded him in death along, with his first born son, Jenus.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: three daughters, Jemunji Watkins, Jkosi and Jemiracle Graham, West Point, GA; two sons, Jenus Stephens(Brittany) Graham, Valley, AL and Jenus Launziale Graham, West Point, GA; six grandchildren; one brother, James Rufus(Tolandra)Graham, Valley, AL; five sisters, Ruby Rainey, Bettye Alexander, Estella Scorggins, Ann Weston and Nan(Greg) Barber, all of West Point, GA; two aunts, Jewel Ann Brown, Valley, AL, Bessie Billingslea and Dorothy Gilliam, West Point, GA; two uncles, Tommy(Dorothy) Gilliam, and his caregiver, Wilburn Gilliam, both of West Point, GA; host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends
